Conditions of Hire
Period of let will be Saturday to Saturday (unless otherwise agreed).
Let will be from 4pm on the day of arrival to 10am on day of departure (unless otherwise agreed).
Dogs are welcome by arrangement at £15.00 a week or £2.50 a day for short breaks. Owners must provide suitable bedding for their dog. Dogs are not to be left unattended in the cottage at any time and must not be allowed on any furniture and beds. Please clear up very carefully after your dog indoors and out, the next guests may not be doggy people.
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of total cost is required on booking.
The balance of payment is due not less than 8 weeks prior to start of period of hire.
Full amount is required if booking within 8 weeks.
Bookings are accepted on a first come first served basis and provisional bookings must be confirmed.
The Hirer must be over 18 years of age at time of booking.
The cottage is let for holiday purposes only.
The number of persons using the cottage must not exceed that stated on Booking.
The Hirer shall pay for any damages losses or breakages incurred during the Hire Period and inform the Owner/Caretaker of all incidents.
At the end of the Hire Period the cottage is to be left clean and tidy ready for re-use.
The cottage is Insured against fire etc and the owners will in no circumstances be held liable for any accident, damage, or loss to the person or property of the Hirer or the Hirer’s Party during the Hire Period.
Visitors are advised to purchase a Holiday Insurance covering cancellation, loss, damage, theft, accident etc. if not already covered by their Home Insurance.
Please be considerate to neighbours regarding parking, noise , dogs barking etc.. Thank you.
RECYCLING Please follow instructions stated in the cottage for the recycling bin. Many thanks
Please note this a non-smoking cottage. You may smoke in the garden, please be considerate to neighbours and clear up mess. Thank You.
Part of the Cottages’ charm is that there are interesting features, such as low ceiling at doorways and going up and down the stairs. Please do take care to “duck” at all the right times! Take all reasonable care of children in the garden, particularly the terraced parts.
